"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe (society). If you try it, you will often be lonely and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high for the privilege of owning yourself." - Nietzsche

What is Logos

The Greek word logos (traditionally meaning word, thought, principle, or speech) has been used among both philosophers and theologians.

In most of its usages, logos is marked by two main distinctions - the first dealing with human reason (the rationality in the human mind which seeks to attain universal understanding and harmony), the second with universal intelligence (the universal ruling force governing and revealing through the cosmos to humankind, i.e., the Divine).

My Philosophy

The videos to the right are ones that have inspired me and helped me with my own logos. You will find informational and comical videos. Music videos and videos that may make you think. Anything that has touched me in one way or another.

I guess this is just the way I see the world through others eyes. Things that have carved my understanding and perception of the world around me. I was born under the sign of Pisces, so I question the world around me constantly with intense passion. This curiosity is what drives me to want to learn all I can about our world and our forgotten history.

To me knowledge is a power that no man can take from you. To be empowered & truly free, we must first learn all we can so that our decisions in our life will not enslave us in to what society expects of us.

The articles to the right below the videos are written by myself. I guess you can call it my philosophy of life and the world. The way that I see the world in my own words.

Create, Experience & Love

In my search for reasoning to my being and existence, I have also learned that life is about 3 simple principles; creation, experience & love. By living by these 3 basic principles, you can help cultivate within you, your true potential as a living breathing being. If we are meant to walk in the steps of 'God', then do you not agree that these principles are exactly what 'God' is about?

We should live to create. Experience these creations and then no matter the out come, to love what we have created & experienced. The experiences are what helps us learn and grow so that other creations will be improved. This can be for creating music or art to creating friendships and relationships.  Many of us are not aware that we create every day of our lives. Even if this person is not creative in a artistic sense does not mean they are not creating. We create everyday constantly.

Start taking the time to think about what you create daily and the experiences. Not only will you be able to have a better understanding of this insane place, but you will soon learn to see things from the perspectives of others and how they may have experienced different situations. Sometimes when I see an event, I will imagine what it must be like for those who experienced the event. I actually try to picture this event happening to me in the first person perspective. It really helps bring you down to earth and makes you feel grateful for what you may take for granted.
